Description

OPACREAM is a natural cosmetic opacifier specifically formulated to replace the plastic polymers or microplastics normally used in the cosmetic market.   OPACREAM is an ideal raw material for all those formulators who want to give their cosmetic products a pleasant, luxurious and delicate appearance, in shampoos, shower creams, liquid soaps and products for delicate skin. OPACREAM guarantees high skin compatibility and superior quality and homogeneity.  It is an opacifier for cosmetic products of vegetable origin and is therefore biodegradable under normal atmospheric conditions. It is a raw material with excellent compatibility with the most common raw materials used (anionic, cationic and non-ionic surfactants), and it is easy to include in common cosmetic formulations, whether creams, lotions or gels.   The product is supplied in the form of an ivory-coloured, low-viscosity micro-emulsion and is therefore easy to handle (no pre-dissolving phase is required and it is cold processable) and to incorporate into existing continuous and non-continuous production processes. The wheat lipoproteins in OPACREAM also have an important role to play in reducing the aggressiveness of anionic surfactants and providing nutrients to the skin in the form of amino acids.
