COCO SOL CRYSTAL is a modern surfactant PEG-free with an excellent solubilising power towards perfumes and essential oils. It is composed by natural amino acids, glucosides and glycerides. COCO SOL CRYSTAL makes it possible to replace PEG-derivatives in final product, like PEG-40 Castor Oil, with a totally natural ingredient. COCO SOL CRYSTAL acts as a solubilizing agent and, moreover, as co-surfactant to increase viscosity and foaming power. The product is Ecocert Cosmos certified and, therefore, can be used in Ecocert Cosmos formulations.
COCO SOL CRYSTAL is usually used in a 1:2 ratio to solubilize perfumes. For essential oils, generally difficult to solubilize, the ratio can be up to 1:5, depending on the type of oil. To operate, it is always necessary to add first perfume to pure COCO SOL CRYSTAL and stir until the solution becomes clear, then you have to add the water little by little, slowly, always keeping the solution stirring. Best performances are obtained at pH values between 5,8 and 6,0. COCO SOL CRYSTAL is Ecocert Cosmos certifiable, and can therefore be used in Ecocert Cosmos formulations.
