Description

SILK PEPTIDE is an hydrolyzed protein obtained by enzymatic hydrolysis from silk proteins. It is suitable for cosmetic preparation of skin care and detergent products because it enhances skin softness and brightness. SILK PEPTIDE can improve the skin-compatibility of cosmetic formulations. The principal feature of this product is its capacity to riduce the irritation potential of tradional primary anionic surfactants. Moreover, SILK PEPTIDE provides a restructuring and repairing effect on damaged structures. It is skin-compatible and in creams and cleansing milks it gives protection and hydration to the skin. SILK PEPTIDE is ecosustainable and ecocertifiable.

Use

SILK PEPTIDE is recommended in gels, emulsions and tonics at 2-5%. It improves the skin compatibility of surfactants and it has a protective and hydrating effect at 2-10%. The product is Ecocert Cosmos certifiable and therefore it can be used in Ecocert Cosmos formulations.
